WSC11 - Weather Station
+ DOCUMENTATION + CASE
WSC11 is a small weather station suitable for installation on the rooftop of a building, as it measures sunlight (illuminance) simultaneously in four directions: north, east, south, and west, as well as global solar radiation, W/m². It has no moving parts and features a compact design with a circular outer diameter of 130 mm. The station has a built-in GPS and clock for calculating solar elevation and solar azimuth. WSC11 comes with a 10-meter connection cable and a stainless steel mounting bracket, is powered by 24 VDC, and communicates via Modbus RTU.
During installation, a converter between Modbus RTU and TCP/IP is also installed. In addition to measuring solar intensity, the weather station measures several other data points, as listed below. It has been tested and is suitable as a data source for Lindinvent's sunshade module LINDINSHADE.
