The SBTb is a control unit for a group of thermostatic actuators, connected directly to the installed communication loop (CAN). With the SBTb, radiator actuators can be controlled in groups from various supply air regulation units via the network. Cable connections to the actuators can be routed along the facade, avoiding the need for potentially cumbersome wiring from each climate control unit.

Connections and control electronics are integrated into a single junction box.

From version C02, the SBTb has been equipped with two inputs for passive room temperature sensors, supporting its own proportional band (P-band) control. The passive room temperature sensors, GTN-D for duct mounting and GTN-V for wall mounting, are available as accessories.
