The smartphone app LINDINSIDE serves as a handheld device for easily connecting to controllers on Lindinvent’s communication loop that are equipped with Bluetooth® support. Authorized personnel can use the app to configure the controller linked to the smartphone. LINDINSIDE is also used during commissioning to set the controller’s Node ID on the communication loop. Commissioning via the LINDINSIDE Mobile App

Products with Bluetooth® are commissioned by assigning a unique Node ID and setting a range of parameters. There is a Quick Setup feature that allows the product to be quickly brought online. Using the LINDINSIDE mobile app, the smartphone connects via Bluetooth® to the selected product. The scanned and identified controllers are presented in LINDINSIDE as a list of selectable nodes. Through a signal status indicator and a clickable icon for each node in the list, the user can identify which controller in the room to manage via the smartphone. The selected controller within range typically responds with a clear audible signal and a blink on the device.

Current Values

LINDINSIDE allows for easy reading of a selection of actual values from the controller for analysis or troubleshooting. The complete set of parameters with variable values for the individual controller can be read and updated through LINDINSIDE. After assigning the Node ID and connecting the communication loop to the supervisory system, the full list of parameters becomes available via LINDINSPECT®.
