The HMK diffuser box is used for the installation of a reactive ceiling air diffuser in suspended ceilings. The diffuser box is sound-dampening and equipped with a pressure drop mat with removable plugs. By adding or removing plugs, an even distribution of airflow can be achieved between diffusers on a branch with a common flow damper. A spreader part is mounted in the diffuser box via a bayonet fitting.

The HMK-250/400 is designed for duct dimension 250 and the installation of either of the reactive air diffusers MTC-400 or MTN-400.

When Ordering

Specify the type of suspended ceiling, such as Edge A. The diffuser box is usually supplied with the UTB mounting rail. The mounting rail is available in versions for the most common suspended ceiling profiles. The UTB is placed on the ceiling grid and facilitates installation by ensuring the correct positioning of the diffuser relative to the ceiling.

Additional Information

The HMK is equipped with a connector for pressure measurement. The current airflow from the air diffuser can be easily checked by multiplying the measured pressure in Pa by 10.

If needed, the HMK diffuser box can be converted into an HTK diffuser box for the installation of the active ceiling air diffuser TTC.
